With the upcoming release of Fury I’m now in the process of figuring out different ways to market the book and like with any product you need to have some nice promo graphics like banners etc.

3D book covers seem to be the new thing that many writers are using to make their banners look good. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and create one, but since I’m not a graphic designer and can’t afford to hire one (my budget has been well and truly spent already on having the cover designed and editing) I had to do it myself.

But thankfully there is online help in the form of tutorials. I used this one by David Henderson from myebook. I found it really helpful, it took me through the process step by step and if you’re interested in making one for yourself I suggest you have a look at it.

I don’t think it turned out too bad considering I’ve never done anything like it before.
