Amazon Ads for Authors

Hello my Freaky Darlings,

Last week I had some fun pairing wine and genres, this week I’m going to talk about how I finally got my Amazon ad for Requiem in E Sharp to work.

When I filmed this on Sunday morning Requiem was in the top 500 of the serial killer category, but by the time I took the screen shot my rank had dropped to #523 in that category. It’s the nature of the Amazon sales ranking system – it fluctuates drastically and quickly. I’m now sitting at #772. Sniff sniff.

And just in case you’re interested here’s the ad I’m running for Requiem on Amazon.

If you haven’t already read Requiem in E Sharp, you can grab a copy at your favourite ebook store … (not so subtle hint).

In other news, Besieged got an amazing review from The Eloquent Page.

“I love the premise of these novels; there is something wonderfully larger than life about it all. Sitting somewhere between The Running Man, a Bond movie and Spartacus, each new episode of Joanna’s adventures ramps up the action. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, once the series is complete I would love to see a collected edition. The individual books are a short, sharp treat but I’m not sure my delicate constitution can deal with the cliff-hangers or having to wait to discover what happens next.”

The whole review gave me the warm and fuzzies and I will admit a tear or two may have been shed …

Mogwai lending moral support

Here’s a throw back to when Mogwai was a teeny kitten and lending moral support while I wrote.

Well … That’s it for this week. Until next time …
