Today’s movie is All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006):

All the Boys Love Mandy Lane was not brilliant, but it was amusing. I also quite liked the twist at the end. It was a bit of a slow starter and your typical teen romp, but there was plenty of gore towards the end. There was a moment there, where the killer pushes a shotgun into a girls mouth and breaks her jaw, that made me squirm.

I also just finished reading Sparrow Rock by Nate Kenyon. I don’t scare easily and I don’t often find myself feeling uncomfortable, but Nate managed to make my skin crawl and send shivers up my spine.
