This weeks horror movie is 1408 (2007).
1408, starring John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson, is based on a short story by Stephen King. Considering the cast, I was expecting this to be a really good movie. But I should know by now that expectations just ruin it – I know I’ve said it before, but I really was expecting so much more on this one and was bitterly disappointed. I found it predictable and boring. The only memorable line is when Samuel L Jackson says, “It’s an evil fucking room.”

Predictable and boring sums it up pretty well. I would add unoriginal to the mix also. It was a string of scenes I felt like I seen before. I must have sighed a dozens times throughout this film. And why exactly was it an evil room anyway? It was all show and no substance.
