Mirrors

Hello my Freaky Darlings,

I recently watched Kiefer Sutherland in Mirrors and I’ve got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the right mix of gore and intelligent story telling. The fact that it also stared Kiefer Sutherland didn’t hurt at all. What can I say? I’m a Kiefer fan!

Here’s the official blurb: Kiefer Sutherland comes face-to-face with the ultimate forces of evil in this shocking thriller from the director of ‘The Hills Have Eyes.’ Attempting to pick up the shattered pieces of his life, a disgraced former cop (Sutherland) takes a routine security job guarding the charred ruins of the once-famous Mayflower department store in New York. But the terrifying images he sees n the building’s ornate mirrors will send him on a pulse-pounding mission to unravel the secrets of the store’s past… before they destroy his entire family.

The ending was pretty twisted. Just when you think the hero gets to walk away unscathed there’s a nasty little surprise. Don’t worry I won’t ruin it for you by telling the whole story here. But do let me know what you thought of it, if you’ve already seen it.

Have a creepy day!

  1. I dunno, Joan. I saw a promotional still image from this film on a movie blog, of a scene I’d rather not recount, and I was like “Nope, this ain’t for me.” I love Keifer as well, but there are somethings I just can’t sit through.

  2. Hi Christina!
There were a couple scenes that were very creepy which makes it a good horror movie, but if you’re not really into horror then this probably wont be up your alley. But I enjoyed it!

  3. Hi! Good, creepy movie, one that I’ll never watch again. (But enjoyed). My husband decided to put his handprints all over the mirror that night, needless to say, my heart abandoned ship the next morning. Still freaked!
