Blog Challenge wrap up

The January blog a day challenge is drawing to a close. Thank heavens! It’s been fun but I’m glad it’s almost over.

I will, however, stick with certain of my weekly theme days that I had during the challenge. I’ll still have the Horror Crime Thursday, Demon Friday, Psycho Babble Saturday and Twisted Comedy Sunday. These are things that are relevant to Shadows and the underlying theme in the book.

One of the main themes in Shadows, are the horrific things that we, as people, are capable of doing to each other – examples of those dastardly deads is what Thursdays is all about.

One of the main characters is a demon – hence Demon Friday. It also seems to be the one you guys have enjoyed the most, so I’ll keep it going.

Psycho babble Saturday will go further into some of the psychological issues addressed in Shadows as well as some other twisted things that may crop up in future books.

And Twisted Comedy Sunday, well, we all need a bit of comedy relief. Things can’t be too serious all the time and there’s also a lot of dark, twisted comedy in Shadows as well. So it’s appropriate.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this month of posts as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them. Let me know if there are any issues you’d like me to tackle.

  1. Good Tuesday morning, Joan! I wanted to let you know that I’m passing on to you the “When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade” Award. I hope you’ll pass it on to 10 other deserving blogs! Maybe you even have a few fellow Horror writers to pass it on to. Yours is the only one I read. It’ll be fun to see which blogs you enjoy.

  2. Hard to believe the challenge month is almost over. Sorry I didn’t have any comments about your blog, but everything I had to say was covered by others and it looks as though you’ve made a few improvements already based on the suggestions. Even though I don’t like reading white on black, it is so fitting with your theme that I don’t think you should change it.
