Resolutions for 2008

I should probably have put these down about a week ago, but I’ve been holding out so I could use them for the blog a day challenge. Sneaky, I know. I also hoped that by not putting them down too soon would also give them time to percolate and become firmer in my own mind. I’m keeping it to a relatively short list.

My resolutions for 2009 are:

Write more.

Finish my new book – Shadows in the Mist (working title. What do you think of it?) – by the end of the year. It’s the sequel to Shadows.

Join a yoga class and actually attend the classes.

Eat healthier and drink more water.

See more of my friends and family.

I think thats a doable list. In previous years I’ve always had a really long list and I’ve never managed to stick to most of the things on it. Hopefully now that I’ve put it up here for the world to see I’ll have to stick to them.

Hope you all have an incredible 2009!

  1. “I’ve been holding out so I could use them for the blog a day challenge.”

Not sneaky. Smart. Here’s another smart idea for you. Ask a question at the end of your post. A good one here would be, “What are YOUR goals for 2009?” or something like that. It encourages more comments out of your readers.

  2. +1 on the drinking more water. I’m doing that myself (to curb the headaches I’d get from dehydration) and it is HARD! I have to keep track of my water intake in a little diary.

  3. Good luck with your resolutions! I never could hack yoga. Good luck with that one.

Shadows in the Mist? Not so much. There are too many books with that title. Try to find something that gets no hits on google or amazon.
